I have long been interested in a great many things, but none more so than writing. I remember growing up and typing to my little hearts content on my parents Commadore 64 and saving stories on the old floppy disks. Oh how I wish I could pull those up! Then again, maybe I don't. Hmmm.... anyhow, the point is that writing has been something that I have always had an interest in.
Recently, I had story ideas that were plaguing me. Desperate to put them down on paper, I discovered that I had little structure or organization. No method to my madness. Just a mad typist with no direction. Unfortunately it took me over a hundred pages to figure that out, so now I am starting fresh. This is the story of my journey of chasing my dream while trying to maintain a bit of sanity and balance life, career, and motherhood. Come along and see if I have the staying power to go all the way and chase this dream as far as it will take me. Occasionally, an encouraging word or two would be appreciated.... and I will try not to bore you to tears.

I'm confused. LOL.
I love your thoughts. I think you should write some more here about your journey. I feel that way pretty often, too... But it's inspiring as well as, sometimes discouraging.
